    International Self-care Foundation

The International Self-Care Foundation (ISF) is a registered UK Charity with a global focus.

Self-care needs to be an integral part of people’s lives, and integrated into families, communities, organisations and society. But with many different elements involved, and being substantially outside the remit of current health and social systems, self-care has in the past lacked a champion.

The International Self-Care Foundation has therefore been formed to champion self-care around the world. In practical terms this involves helping to develop evidence-based self-care concepts and practices, and helping to promote the role of self-care in health.

    Canadian Mental Health Association

Although you have probably heard of self-care before through memes encouraging you to ‘treat yo’ self’ or embedded in descriptions for wellness or luxury goods, self-care is not about buying the right products or investing in expensive experiences. Rather, self-care is about prioritizing yourself and is accessible to everyone no matter your income level.

    A small tagline

Wellness Together Canada was created in response to a rise in mental health and substance use concerns since the COVID-19 pandemic. It is funded by the Government of Canada.

As a country, we are facing challenges at a scale we’ve never seen before, from social isolation and financial insecurity to substance use concerns and racial inequality.

Whatever you’re going through, remember that you are not alone. Wellness is a journey, not a destination. Every day, we can each take a step toward our own well-being. Wellness Together Canada is here to support you on that journey.
